VIA VT1625 HDTV Encoder

The VIA VT1625 Digital High Definition Television Encoder is designed to enable connection of PC devices to the latest display devices. The VIA VT1625 supports input resolutions from 640x480 to 1024x768, including the HDTV input format 1280x720 or 1920x1080 in various RGB pixel data formats or YCrCb pixel data formats from graphic chip or MPEG decoders. Capable of performing non-interlace to interlace conversion for high-quality flicker-free video signals, the VIA VT1625 also integrates an advanced ASIC with VIA’s Advance ProScale® Technology which can scale the input resolution for 640x480 - 1024x768 encode for 1080i, 720p standard HDTV resolution output.
